As we can see, Philippines is an archipelago comprising 7, 100
islands. It is very evident that we have different species of animals here in
the country. Our country has different
animals which can adapt to the Philippines climate.
Because of the presence of those species, the people’s tendency
is to catch it for entertainment or killing it because they need it in order to
survive and it somehow distracts them. This has been a threat for the animals.
The fact that we are presented by different kind of species has
been a challenge for us. We must be aware that climate change has been a major
factor which makes the species endangered. Because of climate change, some
migratory birds don’t come for a season because the climate that we have is not
that suitable place-unlike before to stay in that area. From that, we can see
that the effects of changes will have a big impact on them.
So, what is the goal/s of the teacher?
As teacher, we should teach the students to be more aware of the
place that they are in. they don’t live alone. There are also species in the
world that needs to survive.
We should also teach them that they should be aware of their
actions especially when it comes to the environment. What we get from the
environment should not be taken for granted. Though it is free, we should be
able to practice the do’s and don’ts because in every actions, there will
always be an effect to the environment.
