Path of Fret

By: Bryan Lord Taningco

Path of Fret

I.
Naiad sung the "Song of Death"

The knight marched the path of fret

The trek was mystical, far and tedious

And no one dreamt a solitary cruise

II.
Naiad drifted within the waves

The knight traversed mountains and caves

The trek was mystical, far and tedious

And no one yearns a lonesome road

III.
 Inland, their fates collide

Since then they left none behind

The trek was mystical, far and tedious

But now, with each other, they traveled the course

IV.
Side by side they won battles

till they met at death's cradle

From all Gods they prayed a mutual End

And so granted, they rested in joint grave

V.
A brook, from their crypt, has sprung

Soon into a river it gushed out

Pellucid water swims infinitly

Rock knelt and tides subsided heartily

VI.

Naiad sung the the "Song of Death"

The Knight marched the path till End

The trek was mystical, far and tedious

And no one is to roam the land in solitude.
